Recovery & Wellness in Newtown

Newtown does wellness its own way. King Street's alternative streak runs through the recovery scene: float tanks next to tattoo studios, infrared saunas above vintage shops, and bodyworkers whose client base skews hospo, creative and queer. It's less about luxury day spas and more about regular maintenance — after-shift massages, affordable float memberships, and practitioners who actually understand hypermobility, binding and gig-economy bodies. Enmore and Erskineville are worth checking too.
